Pudú Clicker Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 22, 2026

Pudú Clicker ("the game") is made by Generic cat (gcat.cl). This policy covers the Android version of the game distributed through Google Play.

The short version

The game has no accounts and does not collect personal data itself: your progress stays on your device. It shows ads from Google AdMob, and to show them Google receives some information from your device, described in "Ads" below. You can remove the banner ad with a one-time purchase through Google Play. Without an internet connection the game still works, just without ads.

What the game stores

Your background photo

In the wardrobe you can pick one photo from your phone to use as a background. The game only sees the photo you pick in your phone's own picker. It keeps a smaller copy in its private storage on your device; that copy is never uploaded or shared, it is not part of your saved progress, and you can remove it at any time in the wardrobe.

What the game does not do

Sharing your pudú

When you tap Share, the game makes a polaroid-style picture of your pudú, with the name you gave it, and hands it, with a short line of text and a link to the game, to the app you pick in your phone's share menu. Nothing is sent unless you choose an app, and the game itself sends it nowhere.

Ads

The game uses Google AdMob to show ads:

When an ad loads, Google receives information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, device type and operating system, and how you interact with the ad and the game. Google uses it to show the ad, measure it and prevent fraud, and, if you allow it, to show ads based on your interests. This happens under Google's own policies:

Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), the game asks for your consent before showing ads, and Privacy choices in Settings lets you change your answer later. If you don't consent, you may still see ads, but they won't be personalized. Ads in the game are limited to Google's PG content rating.

You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device's settings (on Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads, or Settings > Google > Ads, depending on the device).

Purchases

No ads is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment details. Google Play tells the game whether you own it, so it comes back if you reinstall the game.

The credits in Settings link to our site, to the Godot engine and to the pages of the artists and musicians whose work is in the game. Opening one takes you out of the game to that site, which has its own privacy policy. The game sends them nothing.

Children

The game's content is suitable for all ages, but the game is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal data from them. The only personal touch it asks for is a name for your pudú, which stays on your device. If you believe a child under 13 is using the game and want their ad data reset, the steps in "Ads" above work for any device, and you can write to us at the address below.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the game, or clearing its storage in your device's settings, permanently deletes your saved progress, your settings and your background photo.

Google Play

Google Play may collect information about downloads, purchases and your device under Google's own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Changes to this policy

If the game ever starts handling data differently, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date above will change.
